This Roof Rack Recovery kit includes: MaxTrax, mounting pins, roof rack mounts & all necessary hardware. The roof rack mounts are Made in the USA from aluminum and powder coated black for a durable & attractive finish.
The MAXTRAX are mounted on the roof at the rear of the vehicle (adjacent to the factory A/C unit) for easy accessibility via a rear or side ladder.

"Purchased brackets in 2025 and they broke after 15 months. There is a weak point in the bracket where the aluminum is notched near the end to allow the 90 degree bend in the rail. Both brackets broke in the same place (see photo). While I like other Agile products, I cannot recommend this one."
"Update to my earlier review. As previously noted, I purchased the rails in 2025 for my Revel and they were easy to install. However, both of them broke in the same place after 15 months of light use. At the end of each rail is a flat section where it bolts into the cross rail on the van. For some unknown reason, one of the ends is longer than the other. Both rails broke on the longer end where the flat part meets the angled section (see photos). It's just not strong enough to support any weight over a period of time. My solution was to buy another set of rails, cut up one of the broken rails into 6" strips, and use the strips to reinforce the flat part of the new rails. The reinforcement runs under the new rails from the Maxtrax pins to the bolts at the end of the rail (see photos). It feels much more robust than the original rail. I'm hoping that Agile can offer this as a simple solution to improve the quality of the product. If not, I would be hesitant to recommend this product "as is"."
"Purchased the brackets and pins kit. Easy to install, and everything fits well. Parts are well made and its a great design to hold our Maxtrax out of the way and safe until needed. Love the pins and locking design. The kit was sent quickly and packages well."

"Installation was simple. I did have to shift the rear solar panel to mount, but that was easy. Just make sure you order the hardware to secure the boards to the mount. I missed that detail, but it was my fault. Website is clear about what is included."
