Apply grease for every 10 cycles the jack goes through.

Extend the jack all the way to the travel stop to reveal the ACME lead screw.

Apply heavy duty wheel gearing grease or equivalent to the threads.

Run the jack, unloaded, up and down twice to ensure even distribution of grease.

Remove excess from the exterior of the cross pin.
